Ask to Make Water a Funding Priority

It's important that Congress hears from the American people about the importance of global water and sanitation projects to them. You can do this by visiting, calling or writing to a local office.

If you're interested in visiting a congressional office, call in advance to schedule a time. If you can’t schedule time to talk to your member, ask what public events he or she will be attending.

Meet with your friends beforehand to review basic water facts, plan what you’ll say and print out materials to give to your member. Make sure that after you talk about the scale of the problem, you ask them to increase funding for water projects globally.
